My Dog’s Name: Bella
Age of My Dog: 4 years
Breed: Saint Bernard
What I Love About My Dog: This is Bella. What do I love about her….absolutely everything! She has been through a lot. We were told she wouldn’t walk by age 2 due to her hips. She had multiple hip surgeries by 18 months. One being a total hip replacement that ended up having to be removed due to staph. Once again, we didn’t think she would be able to walk without a hip joint….BUT, after 13 months of confinement, sling-walking and MUCH physical therapy, she can not only maintain her 164 lb. frame but LOVES going to the dog park to play with all her friends! We are just so glad that she found her way into our home so that we could have the privilege of loving and caring for her. She brings so much joy to our lives….we just can’t imagine our lives without her in it!
