Adoptable Dog of the Day: Tulip in Georgia

It’s Thursday and that means DogTipper introduces another loving, adopable senior dog in need of a forever home. This week, it’s Tulip, a female Dachshund who is being cared for by the Walton Animal Guild Inc. in Monroe, GA. Tulip is about eight years old and a bit gray around her muzzle, but she is still active and loves to show her affection by sitting in your lap. The folks at the shelter report that Tulip is as “spunky as a youngster.”

Tulip's best friend Lily

They also point out that Tulip and her best friend Lily (also an eight-year old Dachshund) are inseparable, sleeping together and playing with each other. So…wouldn’t it be great if some wonderful person or family could adopt them both? They would love you forever!

Tulip is spayed, up to date with her shots and is house trained. She would do best in a non-feline home.
