Adoptable Dog of the Day: Brandi in Texas

Brandi is a senior female Beagle who was taken to Houston Beagle Rescue* in Houston, TX when her previous owner died. Currently in foster care, this older girl may be graying around her muzzle, but she still has lots of energy. She does tend to nap a lot but she also enjoys playing, walking and riding in the car. Brandi is a cheerful, calm dog with very advanced house manners. She loves all ages of people, including children and she would be happy either as an only dog or with some dog buddies.

Brandi is healthy for her age, needing only daily eye drops; she is very cooperative about getting her drops. She is around eight years old and weighs 27 pounds. Brandi will make an excellent companion when she finds her new forever home. The folks at the rescue say that Brandi is “aged to perfection.”

*Houston Beagle Rescue will be represented at the Wonder Pet Expo in The Woodlands, TX on Sept. 1, 2012. DogTipper will also be attending the Expo.
