Adoptable Dog of the Day: Cleopatra in Florida

Cleopatra (Cleo) is an adult Pekingese mix who is classified as a special needs dog due to a severe dry eye condition which has rendered her functionally blind. She was picked up as a stray and brought to UnderDog Rescue of Florida in Bradenton, FL where she is currently being held. Cleo is a calm, quiet dog who gets around fine once she gets her bearings in a new environment. She walks well on a leash and she also gets along with the other dogs. She needs daily eye drops and also frequent baths because she also suffers from skin allergies. Cleo is about 10 years old and spends a lot of time sleeping and napping. She would be an easygoing pet as she is undemanding, only wanting a forever home where she can be loved.

Clepatra is spayed, up to date on her shots and house and crate trained. She has also been microchipped and is on heartworm and flea and tick preventative. Cleo will be a wonderful, loving companion.
