Adoptable Dog of the Day: Aimee in South Carolina

We’ve written previously on the benefits of adopting a senior dog including avoiding “puppy problems” and the fact that many senior dogs are already well-trained. And, on Thursdays we always feature an adoptable senior dog that is looking for a home for their golden years.

Today, our Adoptable Dog of the Day is Aimee, a Jack Russell Terrier who is in the care of The Heartworm Project in West Columbia, SC. Aimee is a ten year old girl who weighs about 10 pounds. The shelter says that she is a feisty dog who is on a special diet but is otherwise healthy and happy. The Heartworm Project originally helped only heartworm positive dogs but has expanded to now help many different kinds of  special needs dogs.

Aimee is spayed and is up to date on her shots. She will be a loyal, loving companion when she finds a home for her golden years.
