Every day we feature an Adoptable Dog of the Day from somewhere across the country. They’re all great and special but rarely do we have the chance to meet them in person.
Today’s *Adoptable* Dog of the Day is an exception to that: we had the chance to meet this great dog AND spend some time cruising the Potomac with her last weekend! Mary, an adoptable dog with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in DC, was at BlogPaws with us last week. During our free time at the conference, we were able to take a special dog-friendly cruise hosted by BringFido.com (more on that next week!) and one of our fellow passengers was Mary!
Mary is a GREAT dog and I say this as a pet professional, a certified dog trainer, and someone who just couldn’t resist this sweetie! I first saw her across the boat, which was filled with people and dogs…
There was a lot of noise on the boat with the sound of the boat engine, plus the hustle and bustle of other dogs and travelers…and Mary couldn’t have been better. She was great with the other dogs on the boat and will make someone a wonderful travel companion…and she’s a kisser!
Mary had puppies that have all been adopted so now she’s ready to be the center of attention at a lucky household. As I said, I think she will be a great addition to a household because I’ve seen her in what was a bustling situation on an open boat filled with travelers and dogs…and she couldn’t have done better! If you or someone you know in the DC area is looking for a super dog, please share this listing about Mary and let’s help find her a forever home!
