Adoptable Dog of the Day: Sophie in Kentucky

SophieAs we celebrate Thanksgiving with our two rescue dogs, Tiki and Irie, we’ll take time to thank all the rescue organizations who do so much to help homeless pets find a forever home. We know there are many dedicated staff and volunteer shelter personnel who are working through Thanksgiving and other holidays. To them, on behalf of all homeless pets awaiting adoption, Irie and Tiki say “Thank You!”

We also think it is appropriate to feature a senior adoptable dog today, as we do each Thursday. Our Thanksgiving adoptable dog is Sophie, a senior Golden Retriever who is in the care of Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs (GRRAND) in Louisville, KY. Sophie was on the list to be euthanized when she was rescued by GRRAND.

Sophie is up to date on her shots and is spayed. This beautiful older girl will be so thankful when she finds a forever home for her “Golden” years.
