Adoptable Dog of the Day: Shelby in Arizona

ShelbyShelby is an adult female Australian Shepherd mix who is in foster care under the supervision of Amazing Aussies Lethal White Rescue of Arizona in Mesa, AZ. This beautiful dog is listed as special needs as she is deaf and partially blind. But, that doesn’t mean she can’t do many of the things most dogs can do!

Shelby is very smart and has learned to compensate very well and is always ready to play. Tug of War is one of her favorite games. She has also learned to walk on a leash and is actually a good running partner as well. She gets along well with other dogs and would love to find a forever home with a companion dog to play with. Her foster family says that Shelby has a strong herding instinct but has not bothered the cats at the home. She doesn’t like to be left along for long periods of time and becomes a bit anxious.

Shelby is spayed, up to date on her shots and is house and crate trained. This sweet girl will be a loving, loyal companion!
