Adoptable Dog of the Day: Leia in Ohio

LeiaLeia, along with her best buddy, Luke, were rescued from an abusive situation and are now doing well in the care of the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network in Kent, OH. Leia was soon diagnosed with congestive heart failure so she is listed as a special needs dog. Fortunately, her condition has been stabilized and can be managed with medication. Leia loves everyone including other dogs, cats and children. In fact, her ideal forever home would be one with another dog and children to play with. She should also have a fenced yard to keep her safe.

Leia, a Brittany Spaniel, is about eight years old and weighs 36 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and is house trained. This sweet girl will be a loving companion!
