Adoptable Dog of the Day: Hope in Pennsylvania

Hope-an-adoptable-special-needs-dogHope is a young female Terrier/Husky mix who was found as a stray and is now in the care of the Humane Society of Cambria County in Johnstown, PA. This girl is listed as a special needs dog because she has permanent damage to her hind legs. That doesn’t stop her from playing fetch and it hasn’t dampened her happy outlook, either.

The great news is that she has been fitted for a wheelchair and will soon be learning to use it. This special dog needs a very special family who can provide the training and support she needs. The shelter personnel say that Hope is a sweetheart who loves giving kisses.

Hope is spayed and is up to date on her shots. Providing a forever home for this sweet, loving dog will be a rewarding experience for the family who adopts her.
