What’s New: Freshpet Ready to Bake Cookies for Dogs

As we’ve written about before, we love to make treats for our dogs…but we don’t always have the time. We’ve just tried a new, super easy dog treat that lets you be the cook but with no mixing or messy cleanup!

Freshpet now offers two fresh, refrigerated treats that are ready to pop in the oven. We’ve reviewed Freshpet foods and treats in the past and love that they’re all-natural and preservative free and made in the USA.

The new Ready to Bake Cookies come in two varieties: Peanut Butter & Oatmeal  and Oatmeal & Cranberry. With no wheat, corn, or soy, the treats are just simple goodness. Pre-sliced, all you have to do is drop the cookies on a baking sheet, flatten slightly with your hand, and bake!

When you purchase the Freshpet Ready to Bake Cookies, be sure to keep them refrigerated; once the dough has been opened, bake the cookies within seven days of opening. Store the baked cookies in an air-tight container for up to two weeks.

Irie and Tiki both give the Freshpet Ready to Bake Cookies a big paws up!

Price: MSRP $4.99 to $6.99

Where to Buy: The Dog Joy Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Recipe is available in select grocery and mass-market stores. Dog Nation Oatmeal & Cranberry Recipe is available in select pet specialty stores. You’ll find a store locator on the Freshpet website.
