Giveaway: HollyWOOF Swag from European Wax Center CLOSED

**This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Debby M., our winner!**

You’ll remember last month we covered the HollyWOOF gift bags that went to some of Tinseltown’s biggest dog lovers from Katherine Heigl to to Rachael Ray to Oprah Winfrey.

We’ve been giving away several of the great items that were included in the HollyWOOF bag (and we’ve got more goodies to give away in the coming weeks). This week, though, we’ve got a special prize that’s meant not for dogs but for you: a tin of special body products from European Wax Center and a $500 gift certificate good at their 250+ locations around the US!

We love the gift card they gave the celebrities (and that the DogTipper winner will receive!)

It’s so appropriate for the lucky celebrity dog lovers…but for all of us, too:

…There will come a time, some day, when the cameras stop rolling, or the shutters stop clicking, when you will hear and know, perhaps for the very first time, that I was, am and always will be your Number One Fan!

If you’d like to pamper yourself a little in these dog days of summer, be sure to enter our giveaway below!

How to Enter

This giveaway we’re experimenting with Rafflecopter, a new way to enter giveaways. (Let us know what you think of it!) You’ll find four ways to enter in the widget below; one…leaving a comment on this post…is mandatory and the others are optional. This giveaway, open only to US readers due to the store locations, ends at 11:59pm on August 31, 2011. The winner will be selected by Rafflecopter using random.org. This giveaway is void where prohibited. This giveaway is in no way associated with, endorsed by or operated by Facebook.

Good luck!!

A/C is a must in south florida! Poor pups are hating that we have to walk at night and early AM, have to wake them up to go!

  • Paddleboard with your pooch! It’s great excercise and you both get to stay cool in the water, plus it’s lots of fun!

  • Leona

Sitting on our shaded deck, watching all the little critters that come to our pond is what Marley (my Boxer) and I love to do in the summer.

  • Melanie Harding

I love summer and the beach but have not been able to go this year. I sit on my deck and soak my feet in a large pan of salt water, very refreshing!

  • Lynda Russell

Our Golden, Harley, is a pup and doesn’t seem to mind the heat at all. If only us humans could learn that! : )

  • Jennifer K.

I keep the AC cranked! But….my 3.6lb Chihuahua, Bella, has to wear a sweater indoors because her mother freezes her! 😉

  • Victoria

Ooh, fun, we’d like to win this!

  • Lori B

We live in South East Texas near the Gulf (just South of Houston) where temps with heat index have been 100-115 degrees. I have 8 dogs which stay inside with the A/C. Even though they don’t stay outside long to do their business, I keep a huge self watering bowl by the back door for them.

  • Theresa Spaid

We go to the dogs favorite park in the hills with a small dam. Two of them like wading while our oldest loves to swim.

  • Ashley C

First… I really like rafflecopter… I think it makes entering easy and convenient.

Second… we are staying cool by keeping inside when possible and playing in the sprinkler after some hot time outside!

  • Michelle Waldron

Snickers & I can’t handle TOO MUCH heat, so we crank the a/c. On our outside days, I break out her pool for her & I sit with my feet in it while i read & she spashes around.

  • Kelly

Here in South Florida air conditioning is a necessity not a luxury. When its not too terribly hot the pool is a great thing as well.

  • Karla Gutierrez-Pugh

The Kool Collar has been a lifesaver for Casey this summer.

  • emily

    I would love to win!

  • Since our air conditioner needs to be serviced, we’re staying cool by opening the windows and turning on the fan.

  • Trish B.

Staying cool here in hot, humid Louisiana is always tough! Thank goodness for central air conditioning and ceiling fans! The dogs and I only go outside for “play time” in the early morning or after dark. Other than that, the dogs only go outside to potty and come right back inside! 🙂 We have ten rescued dogs and we love them all! Thank you!

  • JB

Air conditioning and ice cold water!

  • Marilyn Ritsky

Here in Brockway, Pa. which is in north central pennsylvania I am staying cool by running lots of fans at night to cool house down and leaving windows closed during heat of day. My cat, who was my father-in-laws loves the heat. He lived in a house where it was always at least 86 degrees so he is very comfortable. My other cat (who is 16) and I try to find the coolest place in the house and don’t move around a lot. I know this is dogtipper.com but at this time I only have cats because the stress of a new dog would be too much for my 16 year old, but will adopt one in the future.
