Looking for a different dog treat or chew for your dog? One lucky DogTipper reader will win an elk antler chew for their dog from Doggie Diva.

According to Doggie Diva:

Elk antlers are amazing treats that your puppy or dog will love to chew. These treats are all natural and have not been treated in any type of way. Deer and Elk naturally shed their antlers at different times of the year and the antlers are collected, cut and cleaned for doggie consumption. Some elk antlers can have velvet on them which have been shown to improve dog’s health for many illnesses. Elk antler dog treats are veterinary approved, don’t split or splinter, they don’t stain or smell. Elk antlers are superior to deer antler because they last a lot longer, generally anywhere between a few weeks to six months, depending on the aggression of the chewer and how long the antler has fallen off before it is chewed.

One DogTipper will win the an antler appropriate for their dog’s size (small, medium or large elk antler).

    I have nine rescued dogs that are my own and one foster dog. They LOVE to chew anything! They play outside and chew on their balls, tug ropes, soccer balls (foster puppy chewed a hole in one of the soccer balls and deflated it!) when they are outside. Inside, they love to chew on antlers and bully sticks. Brees, one of my rescued Bulldogs, just started chewing any magazines that come through the mail slot in the door, my husband’s travel case for his guitar and other musical instruments. One of my bullies has had four root canals but he loves to chew on his stuffed toys that are for heavy chewers so that he does not destuff them. Antlers are so awesome but expensive when buying for nine dogs (I don’t give my Bulldog who had the four root canals, Lumpy, bones or hard chews). This would help us be able to keep our babies happy chewing appropriate chews! Thank you!

    They love to chew on anything they can get in their mouths….my bras and underwear Schooner learned how to open my underwear drawer and steal, tennis balls they can skin and then pop in half, socks, toys they chew up and destroy.

    my dogs have always loved antlers and large bones. I reload bones sometimes by putting a little bitof peanut butter in the center of them. I don’t use hooves because of watching a dog almost choke to death, when she got one stuck in her throat. They terrify me as do rauhide.

    We have some deer antlers that have become a favorite in our house with one of my dogs… one other dog isn’t much of a chewer, she would rather just carry a toy around all the time. We’ve been lucky to find naturally shed antlers while on our hikes twice which was awesome!

    I’ve seen these antlers before and I would love to let my dogs try one. They’re pretty expensive and it seems weird that a dog would want to chew on an antler which is why I’ve held off buying one, since I don’t want to waste money. However if they try one and like it, it would definitely be worth the money.
