We had SO much fun watching the birthday pictures roll in during January! Right now we’re compiling a video featuring all the birthday bowsers and we’ll publish it and the winner’s name this week!

But now it’s time to start getting those February birthday photos ready! Does your dog have a birthday or gotcha day in February? Send in his or her photo for a chance to win a bag of toys from DogTipper!

Tomorrow we’re celebrating a birthday (actually gotcha) day here: it’s Irie’s fourth birthday!!

If your dog has a February birthday, let’s share the fun! (And if your cat has a February birthday, be sure to enter our February Birthday Cat Club over on CatTipper!)

How to Enter

Every month, we’ll ask readers whose dogs are celebrating a birthday or gotcha day that month to send in their photo. At the end of the month, we’ll create a slideshow from all the photos to celebrate those birthdays, and we’ll draw one winner at random to win a surprise package of dog goodies!

So let’s get this birthday party started! If your dog’s birthday or gotcha date is in February, please email us a photo of your dog to editors@dogtipper.com along with your dog’s name or you can use the Disqus comment box below to leave a note with your dog’s name (and to attach your dog’s photo, just click the “+” link below the comment box!)

The party is open to dogs everywhere whose birthday or gotcha date is in February. We’ll announce the winner in March when we’ll launch the March Bowser Birthday Club. In the meantime, happy birthday to our dog buddies with February birthdays!

    Zora’s birthday is sometime this month. When we know what month a dog was born in, but not what day(like with Jack), we just kinda put it smack dab in the middle – the 15th. That was before I had heard of “gotcha days” though. Anyways, Zora’s second birthday is this month!

    It’s Roxy’s 5th birthday and she has already started the celebrations! I rescued Roxy when she was just a year old from my local humane society. She is the happiest, most loyal best friend I could ask for!

    Happy Birthday to Sarah!  I adopted my sweet Sarah in 2010 after her rescue from a horrific puppy mill in North Florida (she was breeding stock). My little girl still has tons of issues and will not allow anyone else near her, but I’m so happy that she has bonded with me, and that each day brings us new chances to overcome more obstacles.  Tomorrow ( 2/20) she will turn 7.   While I do not dress her up, I couldn’t help but make her a little princess for Halloween (for about 30 whole seconds).

    This is Piper – she was born on February 24, 2010 with 9 siblings. While she was the runt of the litter, being small doesn’t keep her from having a big attitude. At two years of age she only weighs 47 pounds, yet her appetite is bottomless. She is the clown of the family and the biggest cuddle-bug.

     This is Violet, a Rat Terrier. She just turned 4 on February 1st. She got a whole bunch of treats and her new dog toy that she is already cuddling with :)

    This is Stella, who celebrated her first adoption birthday on February 5th, which just so happens to be my birthday, too. Last Feb. 5th, I went out to buy a bird mate for my society finch whose mate had died the day before. Adopting a dog was the last thing on my mind because I was still so sad over losing my beloved Yorkie, Gracie, the year before. A rescue group was having dog adoptions that day and, needless to say, I signed adoption papers and drove home with a new baby…who now shares my birthday!

    Here is my rescue boy, Frankie.  I don’t know his birthday but I made it Valentines Day, Feb 14th.  He was 4 years old this birthday and we’ve been together since he was about 10 months old:)
