I’ve been meaning to look into this system. Our newest adoptee, Charlie, is such a smart Aussie. He learned all his doggie manners, except when it comes to outside leash walking. He gets so distracted – especially with squirrels or other living things. We’d love for him to get his CGC cert and therapy license like our other dog… this is one of his last hurdles.

My boy pulls and pulls and pulls.  (And he is not a little dog.  An Irish setter and 74 pounds!)  I have never had this problem with my other dogs.  But Rory?  Nothing has worked.  :(

Schooner pulls so hard when we are walking. My arm is so sore by the time we get home.

  • Shelley P

My two dogs, Kody and Ella, both pull when on leash.

my three huskies all  need this for my comfort

I do a lot of talking to my dogs as we walk – gently reminding them to keep their place. It’s a challenge if you are trying to walk with others.

  • Joe

The biggest challenge is keeping him from barking at other dogs.

Molly and Roxy pull especially when they see a squirrel, bunny, cat or another dog and when they see another dog they bark and howl like crazy

My biggest on-leash challenge is being pulled around by my dog ヅ  *Thanks* for the giveaway!

My biggest on leash challenge is pulling!! She’s strong as an ox lol

  • Alexis

My biggest challenge is occasional pulling and she doesn’t walk right next to me like she should. Thanks for the opportunity!

    My biggest challenge is pulling.

My biggest on-leash challenge with Ralphie is to stop him from pulling and barking at people and/or dogs who walk by.  He doesn’t always do it, but this is a problem that I really don’t like!

Her pulling me and directing me which way to walk!

  • shilohsmom

Biggest challenge is occasional pulling when he sees another dog. He wants to go meet them.

  • Tspaid54

I have big strong dogs who want to walk me instead of me walking them

  • Christine A.

My dog can see other dogs in their backyards from my backyard. When I take her on a walk she knows those specific houses that those dogs live in and pulls a lot more when we get close to them and goes crazy in front of those houses when the dogs are out. She is very friendly and playful and I think she just want to go and play with them because those are her backyard barking budding but it can get ridiculous.

My dog tends to want to switch sides too much. It can get annoying when walking him with another one of my dogs.

  • Shelly Skoog-Smith

Jazmine lunges whenever she sees a dog in the distance, one she doesn’t know or anything on wheels. My shoulder gets tweaked almost every day. She’s only a little girl but it’s amazing how strong she is!

  • Tammathau

I have a Boston and a boxer and both are terrible pullers!

  • Danielle E.

squirrel chasing or at least trying to chase them

  • Lucie

I would love to be able to walk Maddy, rather than Maddy walking me :•)

  • victoria

    Squirrels!

  • Tammy

Our biggest challenge would be Millie pulling…………she is strong.

  • Kelsi O’Rourke

Roxy is my beloved lab hound x rescue. She looks all lab but follows her nose like a hound, especially while on walks. She weighs almost as much as I do and definitely pulls me around. I’ve tried countless different harnesses and methods but nothing seems to work! I am looking into getting a second rescue but I can’t do so until I feel confident I can walk them both at the same time. Alecia, we need your help!

  • Misty

Going where I don’t want to go!

  • Nancy

    Yanking me off my feet.

  • Rick

Me, being on the other end!

My adopted dog keeps pulling on the leash when he sees another dog.  I’ve tried to correct it by stopping and standing still when he does this, but when he’s focused on the other dog he doesn’t even notice that I’ve stopped and continues to lunge at the other dog.  He is very friendly and not aggressive to the other dog (if the other owner decides to let the dogs meet), but other owners are wary of having him come towards their dog when they see him lunging towards them.  I live in NYC, so we always see other dogs on our walks, and the pulling is frustrating.  Help!

  • Jessi

I’ve tried every type of harness and am really excited about this one! It uses positive reinforcement and seems completely comfy for the dog.

  • Randy

My current leash and halter restricts my dog’s movements in his legs. This seems like a much better solutions.
