We all know the smiles that Teddy the Dog apparel and other products can bring. Based in Needham, MA, this company produces what can be described as “funny clothes for humans.” They’re well-known for the super cute tees and hoodies as well as plush blankets like this “It’s a Dog’s Life” throw:
But they also recognize that there’s a situation underway that’s no laughing matter with the culling of dogs in Sochi. To help out in this tragic situation, Teddy the Dog is donating profits from their new “Painted Paws for Sochi Dogs Campaign” to the Humane Society International, who have already hit the ground running in an effort to try and stop the culling in Russia.
According to owner Ted Pidcock, “We initially created the graphic just for fun. But when we heard of the issues surrounding the treatment of stray dogs in Sochi, we realized we couldn’t just stand by idly. Our fans and customers love dogs. We love dogs.”
We’d like to help share the news of these Teddy the Dog fundraising efforts–and also provide one lucky DogTipper reader with a great prize package that includes the above blanket as well as these Painted Paws products (both in Large), a Painted Paws Hoodie Sweatshirt…
…and a Painted Paws Tee…
One reader will take home the gold–well, we mean the entire prize package. Good luck!
