I’ll be the first to admit it:our dogs LOVE chews. They are crazy about all kinds of chews and, since Irie can’t have bones any longer after last year’s three cracked teeth, we’re always on the lookout for healthy chews and treats for both dogs.

We’ve recently learned about Sliders®, made in the USA in government-inspected plants. These slim treats are made either of American beef from humane-audited ranches or vegetarian-fed, hormone and antibiotic-free chicken. Made by Clear Conscience Pet, the treats also feature a blend of Organic Flax for Omega 3 fatty acids and air-dried SuperVeggies™ for phytonutrients. It all adds up to a holistically-balanced meat snack that’s healthy and doesn’t just provide empty calories.

These moist treats are also extra special because they’re made with NO glycerin or “vegetable” glycerin, NO propylene glycol, and NO sugars or syrups, unlike other moist treats.

Along with bags of Sliders, another option are the Sliders TenderStikz™, each individually wrapped (which makes them GREAT for travel!)

If you’re familiar with Clear Conscience Pet, you’ll know that they offer a full line of healthy treats and chews. Irie and Tiki are in love with their Beef Trachey Chewz, a natural beef trachea also coated with organic flax and SuperVeggies™:

For smaller dogs and lamb lovers, Lamb Trachey Chew is a petite trachea chew with all the goodness of the larger beef chews. And for excellent training treats, Lamb Airy Bites provide training treat-sized bits of lamb lung, organic flaxseed, dried tomato, dried spinach, and dried carrot. For a bigger treat, Cruncherz is made with 100 percent organic ingredients, a gluten-free and grain-free crunchy biscuit. And for added flavor and added nutrition, SuperGravy combines bison liver, organic beef liver, organic beef heart, chia seeeds, dried organic spinach, pumpkin and carrots, and more into a holistic gravy mix for dogs and cats.

I have eight dogs, including three rescues so with all these dogs, I’m constantly handing out chews. I usually give them a short lasting chew like the tender stick ones here about once a week, but they always have long lasting chews laying around to chew on, such as bully sticks, rawhide chips, and that sort of thing. I had the opportunity to try this brand of treats a few weeks ago as they were part of a doggie subscription box I tried and my dogs absolutely loved them, especially my oddest sheltie so I would be thrilled to win this for my babies to share. Thanks for thr chance.

He gets a chew, well a Jones Venison Stick which is I guess not technically a chew but is her favourite treat, twice a day, sometimes 3 times. Actual chews such as jerky I sometimes substitute in to break up the monotony (more I think for me than her, lol). She may get an additional chew treat a few times a month if I groom her or want her to do something different from the usual routine.
