Let’s take a moment to think about some of the summer hazards to your dog’s paws. Blistering hot asphalt. Hot beach sand. Grass burrs and stickers. Chemically treated lawns. The list goes on and on.

Keeping your dog’s paws safe and healthy basically comes down to one simple fact: if you wouldn’t walk barefoot in a situation, don’t ask your dog to walk with unprotected paws.

Protecting your dog’s paws isn’t always easy, however (and we know this firsthand). We’ve tried booties on Irie and Tiki and, within seconds, they pull them off. We’re super excited to try a new patented system called Snuggy Boots that, like a pair of suspenders that holds up your pants, holds your dog’s protective booties! Next week, we’ll be taking Irie and Tiki to the beach and putting these boots to the test, so watch for video and photos.

Besides keeping your dog’s paws safe from heat and stickers, this suspender system is also orthotic, providing support that can help senior dogs with joint issues.

Whether you’d like to try Snuggy Boots to protect your dog’s paws or to assist with joint issues, here’s your chance! One lucky DogTipper reader will receive a pair of Snuggy Boots suspenders AND a set of protective booties (or, if you prefer, indoor socks to prevent your dog from slipping on those hard floors!)

I’m looking forward to hearing how Irie & Tiki did with these at the beach!!

Me, too…I can’t wait to try them out! They’ve got some MAJOR grass burrs down there and not only do the dogs get them in their paws but I get them in my fingers when I remove them. I’m eager to test out the booties and suspender system!
