What It Is: dog leash with a comfort-grip handle and built-in bag dispenser for quick doggie clean-ups
Manufacturer: Rascodog
DogTipper Review: We gave the ReadyLeash a try with our dogs. With its comfortable handle and ability to attach two dogs, we could see many situations where the non-retractable leash would be an excellent option. Several features really stood out to us about the ReadyLeash:
- Easy cleanup. There’s no worrying about forgetting pickup bags; this leash has a built-in bag dispenser. (This is a great option for dog walkers like us who most often walk in the countryside and don’t have to worry about bags–which makes it all that much easier to walk off and forget them when planning an urban walk!) The leash holds a roll of 15 biodegradable Readybags (and can be used with other bags as well).
- Easy handling. We found it easy to grab a bag when needed. We usually carry bags in a zippered portion of a waistpack. The ReadyLeash made it much easier to grab a bag while still holding the leash.
- Ability to Walk Two Dogs. You can hook up two dogs (just buy an XtraLeash) on one leash, a real plus! Unlike couplers, the two dogs are both connected to the leash handle, not to each other, which we really liked.
- Ability to Quickly Secure a Dog. With its handy clip, you can quickly tie up a dog outside a shop (see the video for a demo) using nothing more than the leash. Walking primarily in the country, we didn’t think we’d need this feature but now we’re seeing real potential for country walkers–if you need two hands to tend to another dog, move some fallen brush off the trail, etc., you can easily secure your dog to a tree using the leash!
Our only concern about the leash is its comfort handle. It is easy to hold and definitely comfortable–but we had a few concerns about the possibility of the dogs being able to pull the leash completely out of our hands if they suddenly tried to bolt (there’s always the chance of that bunny appearing out of nowhere!) Our answer? We’re making a secure wrist loop to go around the wrist and attach the same place where the leash attaches to the handle. We’ll probably never need it but it will anchor the leash to our arm if we let go of the handle.
We’ll definitely be using the ReadyLeash for future walks!

These are awesome. You never run out of the house without a bag. This is a pretty classey one built into the handle. Ricky could show it off the ReadyLeash from RascoDog to all his friends. (six really good dog playmates) Good advertisement.
