Puppy Crack Dog Treats Review

Product: Puppy Crack® dog treats

What It Is: crackers for dogs made from all-natural ingredients

Manufacturer: Rescue Me Dog Bakery (made in the USA)

DogTipper Review: As you know, we use a lot of treats as we train our dogs so we’re always on the lookout for nutritional dog treats made with human grade ingredients. Recently our buddies over at Dogs for the PAWS sent us two bags of treats made by their fellow South Carolinians, the Rescue Me Dog Bakery. This bakery produces Puppy Crack, thin crackers made with beef or chicken.

Along with their thin cracker-like appearance (perfect for breaking into training treats), the first thing that caught our eye was the ingredients list. Both varieties of the treats are made with all natural ingredients with no preservatives and no sugar, salt, soy, corn syrup, or corn. The beef variety is made from wheat flour, whole wheat flour, beef liver, oats, vegetable oil, garlic, eggs, and spices. The chicken variety is made with wheat flour, whole wheat flour, chicken liver, oats, vegetable oil, garlic, eggs, turmeric, and spices. All human-grade ingredients are used in the treats, which are made by hand.

Also very attractive to us: the bakery’s mission statement:

With a love for ALL animals, our mission is to aid dog rescues in need. Your purchase of Puppy Crack® treats will help abused and neglected animals become whole again and be adopted into a loving home.

Of course, the true test awaited: what would Irie and Tiki think? Both dogs absolutely loved both flavors!

A big paws up for Puppy Crack!

My dogs hate these treats. The main ingredient is wheat, which is bad for dogs anyway. In an already over-stuffed dog treat market, I can’t imagine how these things flourish. Especially with an unattractive name like Puppy Crack.
