What It Is: eco-friendly odor neutralizing candles
Manufacturer: Bluedogg Innovation, Austin, Texas
DogTipper Review: OK, let’s face it: dogs mean dog odors. Whether your dog is wet or dry, those doggie smells can be deposited in your home. We know that we sometimes don’t smell the dog odors in our home but, when we’re having company visit (and especially if they don’t have pets in their own home), we work to remove any possible odors…then worry that we didn’t do a good enough job!
Well, now we won’t have to worry any more: we’ve tested a new product especially made for pet families and just loved it. The What Dog?® Candle is a candle designed to neutralize pet odors, not mask them with heavy perfumes. (As our regular readers know, Paris has asthma so we’re really wary of products with lots of perfume.) The What Dog?® candle has a wild ginger fragrance that’s pleasant without being powerful. The candle itself is 100 percent soy, cruelty-free, and vegan.
The candle is contained in a three-inch tin that holds the 10-ounce candle. As a household with six pets (including four cats that can reach any surface where we can put a candle), we’re really happy that the wide tin is tip-resistant and, when you’re done, can be capped with its tin lid so you’re sure that the flame is extinguished. The candle has a burn time of 60 hours.
The candle comes with a dog bone-shaped carabiner, packaging that makes it a great gift for a dog family.
A big paws up for the “What Dog?” Candle!
