2012 Gift Guide: “Dog Confessions”

Today we’re launching the 2012 DogTipper Holiday Gift Guide (and the 2012 CatTipper Holiday Gift Guide as well.) Every day we’ll be bringing you one product of special interest for holiday shoppers. We’ll also be preparing special category pages to make shopping easy for busy pet lovers!

Looking for a fun stocking stuffer for the pet lovers on your list? Allia Zobel Nolan, an award-winning author with over 170 books to her credit including both children’s books and adult titles, has written two companion volumes to evoke howls of laughter from dog and cat pet parents.

Dog Confessions: Shocking Tales Straight from the Doghouse and Cat Confessions: A “Kitty Come Clean” Tell-All Book are petite-sized hardbacks that pair up pet photos with evocative captions (written in the animals’ voices). For example, one page from Cat Confessions has a photo of a cat peeking out from a suitcase (reproduced on the book’s cover, pictured above) along with the caption: “I’m crashing Mommy’s honeymoon. Am I there yet?”

An admitted “cat person,” author Nolan published Cat Confessions in 2010 and was immediately besieged by readers to create a canine version. Thus was born Dog Confessions, published in 2012.

Together, the miniature tomes are guaranteed to inspire laughter. The photos are clear, full-colored and evocative and the sayings are clever, pithy, and informed by genuine pet lover sentiment.

Dog Confessions, published by Harvest House Publishers, is available on Amazon for $9.99.

FIVE DogTipper readers will win copies of Dog Confessions (and over on CatTipper, five readers will win copies of Cat Confessions!)

Disclosure: We received the above-mentioned books for review and giveaway.
