Getting Fit with Tagg, Week Three

Share with fellow dog lovers!

I can’t believe January is flying by so quickly and that we’re already on Week Three of our Getting Fit with Tagg series!

This week we had some very mild, pleasant weather, cool enough for the dogs to feel frisky but warm enough to enjoy some really long walks. It showed in their activity tracker scores, too; here’s a look at yesterday’s:

As you can see above, Tiki still hasn’t yet hit her target of 300 points for the day…but she’s far closer to it than she was last week. Irie really got busy and went over her target goal:

Part of that activity, on the part of both dogs, was time spent splashing around in our creek. It’s not deep enough to swim but they definitely splash around…and that’s one question that a reader asked us recently: can the Tagg unit get wet?

Thankfully, the answer is YES. The tracker (the part on your dog’s collar) can be worn when swimming or bathing. The docking unit, which is plugged in inside your house and serves as a “home base” so it knows when your dog strays outside the identified zone and also serves as a charging base, is NOT water resistant.

What questions do you have about Tagg? This week, as part of the Rafflecopter giveaway, we’re asking readers for their questions about the Tagg unit and we’ll come back next week with answers to many of your questions.

If you’d like the chance to win a Tagg unit for your dog, visit ur Tagg giveaway! Don’t forget: every week we add a new way to enter so, even if you’ve entered previously, we’ve got a new way for you to earn entries this week!

Disclosure: We received Tagg units for review and Tagg is providing a unit to the giveaway winner; all opinions are entirely our own.
