Recipe: Beef Pupsicles

Yesterday we shared a recipe from Just Food For Dogs for Peanut Butter Banana Pupsicles that you can make at home. Today we’ve got another cool frozen treat from this Southern California commercial, human-grade kitchen: beef pupsicles!

Beef Pupsicles

Beef Pupsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Just Food For Dogs Beef Treat

Instructions

  1. Whisk yogurt and beef broth together until smooth. Spoon yogurt mixture into 3 oz cups and place in freezer until partially frozen. Place a Just Food For Dogs Beef Treat in the center of the Pupsicle to create a stick and place back in freezer until frozen, about two hours.
  2. To make smaller Pupsicles, use an ice cube tray in place of the 3 oz cups. To feed, pop the Pupsicle out of the cup and into a bowl by pressing on the bottom of the cup. Then serve.

This is a great treat for my dog, but I’ll probably make it when the weather is a little bit warmer. Can I use chicken broth or other broths instead? I think we don’t have beef broths in stock at the moment.
