Pet insurance plans–just like your own health insurance–can be a great investment to help cover your dog’s medical expenses.
In selecting a pet insurance plan, though, take the time to read the fine print. Find out:
- what the deductible is (some plans will offer different deductible levels)
- what is covered and what’s not
- what limitations the plan has including policy limits
- if you’ll be able to use your own veterinarian or if you’ll need to go to a network vet
