Barking in the Car

Some dogs love to ride in the car…but some absolutely hate it.

One thing that causes the non-stop barking that some dogs engage in while in the car is the constantly changing motion seen outside the window.

If your dog barks repeatedly while in the car, consider using a kennel in your car. Not only is it safer for him in case of an accident (and safer for you) but it helps block his vision. You can use his house kennel with a sheet draped over the sides so he’s not seeing the world fly by or look at collapsible car kennels with some opaque panels and some screened panels. You can turn the screened panels toward you; turn to opaque panels to the side windows to prevent him from seeing the motion as you drive.
