Making your own dog treats can be a way to do something special for your four-legged friend, a means to save money, and a method to feed your dog a healthier diet. Here’s an easy recipe for making your own homemade dog treats. To make them extra fun, shape them with an inexpensive dog bone-shaped cookie cutter!

HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

1 cup warm water
1 -1/2 tablespoon canola oil
1 -3/4 cup flour
1-1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup of natural peanut butter

Mix oil and water then add other ingredients. Shape into a tube and chill for one hour.

Slice into biscuits and cook at 300 degrees for 50 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.
