Prepare for Holiday Travel Now

It may still be October, but if you plan to board your dog in a local kennel over the holidays, now’s the time to make preparations.

First, obtain a clean bill of health from your vet. You’ll need to show a kennel cough shot more recent than six months previous to boarding.

Also, kennels can be busy during the holiday season. Select a kennel, taking time to visit the kennel and interview its management just as if you were selecting a day care for your child. If you already have a dependable kennel, make reservations for the busy holiday season.
