Making Dog Holiday Cards

Every year we make holiday cards that recall some special event in the year…so it seemed very appropriate for the newest two additions to our family to appear on this year’s card!

Check out your photos from throughout the year for potential holiday cards. Be sure to use the highest resolution possible to get the sharpest print. We always use VistaPrint for our holiday cards (and business cards); the turnaround time this year was very fast. We uploaded the front of the card as well as the back with our return address info. About a week later, the cards arrived! VistaPrint also offers folded holiday cards but one aspect of the postcards we like is the lower postage rate!

I love the pic on your holiday card! And VistaPrint is great. I also want to mention another way to make really nice holiday cards featuring your pets…the publishing service is called Heritage Makers. You use their Studio software which contains thousands of pieces of artwork (like scrap book pages), and it’s all online. I made a really fun swatch book of my dog, Duncan, and this year I plan to make my holiday cards with Heritage Makers. It’s so addictive and so easy to use, and the greeting cards are Hallmark quality. If you would like to see my swatch book, here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/ydgv2hn.

Thanks for all the great info you share on DogTipper!
