Buying Westminster Dog Show Tickets

It may seem like a long time until mid-February but tickets for the popular Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show went on sale to the public Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009. The show itself is scheduled for Monday, February 15, and Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Tickets: Reserved seat tickets (sections 40-299) and general admission tickets (sections 300 and 400) are available; both of these tickets are good for the day and evening portions of the show. Both permit entry into the benching area. General admission tickets, however, do not have an assigned seat; they’re on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices: Prices range from $40 for a one-day, general admission ticket (or $20 for a comparable children under 12 ticket) to $120 ($130 from the Westminster Kennel Club office) for reserved, lower level, one-day tickets. Reserved $60 seats are also available. If you purchased tickets last year, you can request the same seats and order tickets from the Westminster Kennel Club; an order form will be available on the WKC ticket link below.

- At the gate: A limited number of general admission tickets are available each morning of the dog show; previous years have completely sold out. If you know you’ll be attending, play it safe and get tickets early.
