Have you hit the after-Christmas sales yet? The initial markdowns are made and, in the coming days, markdowns will be even more drastic on holiday items. Now’s a good time to make purchases for your dog–often at prices up to 75 percent off! Check pet supply stores for good discounts now on:
- holiday treats and chews. Your dog won’t care one bit if the treat is shaped like a candy cane–and the treat for you is the savings.
- holiday collars. Besides jingle bell collars, you’ll find some practical collars on sale many places. And if they sport Santas and snowflakes, so be it!
- holiday toys. Squeaky Santas will be equally loved in April or August. (We just pulled out some squeaky Halloween pumpkins the other day that we bought at 90 percent off in November and were met with nothing but doggie excitement;)
- holiday sweaters. You’ve still got plenty of time to get some good wear out of holiday sweaters (and dogs will not look down on each other if they’re sporting elf sweaters in January.)
- dog calendars. Dog calendars are already on sale many places (and wait another week and you’ll find even bigger markdowns.)
