Walking a Pulling Dog

Pulling on a leash is one of the most common problems people have with their dogs and, sadly, a reason many people give up on their daily dog walks. It’s no fun to be pulled around and to risk your dog getting loose but, at the same time, failure to walk your dog can lead to all kinds of behavioral problems that can spiral out of control.
The answer is to walk your dog every day (twice a day, like we do, if you can) and for BOTH you and your dog to enjoy the walk!
The video above features Seth Sachson, Aspen Animal Shelter Director, and Gus, a beautiful Husky mix. Gus was at the shelter and had been having terrible problems pulling on the leash. Seth and Walk In Sync inventor Alecia Evans talk about Gus and his behavior and you’ll be able to see how Gus responds!
