Walking a Pulling Dog

In honor of National Dog Training Month, we’re going to bring you a special week of videos about training your dog. First, we have a video from Alecia Evans, a Colorado trainer you know from our Ask Alecia column. Alecia is the inventor of the Walk In Sync system. In this video, Alecia works with Shiner, a 5-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who is pulling his handler.

Although he is still a puppy, Shiner is already very strong and is making his walk difficult. Watch the video and you’ll see Alecia’s advice on how to make the walk easier and a lot more fun for everyone involved!

One lucky DogTipper reader will win a Walk in Sync system; enter on our Giveaway post. Good luck!
