Hotel Penn Hosting Westminster Special Events

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, scheduled for February 14-15, 2011, takes place at Madison Square Garden, directly across the street from New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania. The hotel welcomes many of the participating dogs from the show as well as many related special events.
Uno’s Room
The Hotel is known for hosting Westminster champions, including 2008 Best in Show winner Uno the Beagle. To increase their luck, guests have been calling for ‘Uno’s Room’ as well as rooms which represent the date Westminster announces its champion (February 15 = 215).
Hotel Penn Special Dog Show Events
In honor of the Westminster dog Show, Hotel Penn will be hosting a variety of onsite Dog Show events and amenities, including:
1) A press conference together with the Westminster Kennel Club to announce the new breeds to the 2011 Show.
2) A live broadcast satellite feed for media outlets to interview 2011 Westminster Dog Show participants from their corresponding market.
3) The Pre-Westminster Fashion Show taking place on Friday, February 11, 2011.
4) The Hotel will again convert function space into the largest in-door doggie spa in all of New York. Located within the lower level, the 1st In-Line, Inc. sponsored Green Room Salon & S’paw’ offers a variety of pet pampering amenities for these VIP’s.
5) Also, the Hotel will have its Doggie Concierge on-site and a Paw Mall.
