Colorado’s The Inn at Keystone Welcomes Dogs

Not just a Rocky Mountain high for humans, Colorado’s The Inn at Keystone is also a paradise for pooches. From pocket-size pups to colossal canines, dogs of all dimensions can stay in any of the retreat’s standard rooms.

When checking in, your tail wagging chum will receive a doggie bag welcome kit, complete with a treat, a pick-up bag and a door hanger to let the hotel staff know that Rover is in residence. While dinner tables at the hotel restaurant are obviously out of bounds for your barking buddy, dogs can sit at the hotel bar with their human parent.

You and you pawed pal have a number of outdoor exploring options in the immediate area, including Snake River’s wetlands and hiking trails which take tourists on a sojourn past the shops in Keystone Village.

Nestled between Lakeside Village and River Run, the rooms at The Inn at Keystone– which was showcased in the guidebook Best Hotels with Dogs: Colorado– offer guests all the comforts of home, with a mini-refrigerator, voicemail and wireless internet service. Before stretching out in your room’s queen-or king-size bed for the night, take your canine companion to the hotel rooftop where the cares of everyday life melts away as you soak in a hot tub while your dog soaks up the scenery surrounding what Condé Nast has deemed to be one of the Top 50 Ski Resorts in North America.
