Preening pooches are preparing to promenade at the 4th annual Mutt Strut, a 1.8-mile pledge-driven walk to raise funds for dogs and cats searching for their forever families.
Sponsored by Dearborn Family Pet Care, May 16 will be devoted to mixed breed dogs and will include a number of activities and attractions for you and your four-pawed pal to enjoy, including:
• The Doggie Fun Zone– While an artist can capture your canine’s character in a caricature or pet photo, a pet psychic can communicate with your pup’s soul. Dogs can receive VIP (Very Important Pooch) treatment with a massage and manicure, participate in dog games and contests and join in the Adopted Dog B’day Paw-ty.
• Mutt Midway– Peruse for purchases among booths brimming with the latest toys for your fur baby.
* Milt Wilcox’s Ultimate Air Dogs– Cheer on the determined dog athletes who make a splash in a show helmed by a former Detroit Tigers pitcher.
• Doggie Health Zone-- Make sure your barking buddy never gets lost with a quick trip to the microchip clinic.
