Purebred dogs from Celtic lands–Scotland, Ireland and Wales–will be the focal point of the Celtic Dog Parade, one event at the McHenry Highland Festival in McHenry, Maryland.
The dog fun begins with a festival gathering at noon of the dogs along with clans and bands, followed by a “Pat and Chat” at 1 pm.
Other dog events during the three-day festival include Saturday’s sheepdog herding demonstrations at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
