Georgetown, Texas (located just north of Austin on I-35) will be the setting for Picnic with Your Pooch on June 6, an event benefiting the city’s Bark Park.

Look for DogTipper! The picnic will include plenty of traditional picnic and dog-friendly fun including live music by the Post Hole Diggers. Look for DogTipper.com’s own John Bigley on the guitar (far left in photo); be sure to come by and say hi to John and to Paris, who will be taking photos!

Activities: Along with the music, the picnic (which you can attend with or without your four-legged friends) will include:

  • free barbecue (bring your own beverages as well as blankets and chairs)
  • Best Kisser contest
  • Best Tail Wagger contest
  • microchipping for $20

Admission: $20 per family donation; 100% of donation goes to the Bark Park Fund

When: Saturday, June 6, 2009, 4-7 pm

Where: Chandler Park (across from the Georgetown Country Club)
