Since its launch in 2003, Woofstock has grown to become the largest outdoor dog festival in North America, drawing 140,000 dog lovers in its one-weekend annual run.
Events: During the two-day event, look for:
- dog fashion shows
- costume contests
- the Mr. & Mrs. Canine Canada Pageant
- Purina Pro Plan Dog Stars
- Ugliest Dog Contest
Festival Hotel: Le Meridien King Edward hotel is offering a special rate for Woofstock attendees and their dogs. Four legged guests receive a Doggie Amenity which includes a doggie mat and bowls. And don’t forget to sample the Doggie Afternoon Tea, available from room service.
