4th of July Pet Parade, Bandera, TX, July 4, 2009

Bandera, Texas may be best known for its horses thanks to the city’s role as the “Cowboy Capital of the World” but on July 4, both small and large four-legged residents take center stage. The 4th of July Pet Parade, sponsored by the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League at Bandera, features dogs, cat horses, birds, turtles, you name it. Parade through the town with your pet (in costume, if you like); pet treats will be provided.

When: July 4, 2009. Registration starts at 9am; judging begins at 9:30am. The parade begins at 10am.

Where: City Park, Bandera, Texas

Admission: free. No registration fee.
