Filed under 07: July events, Dog Festivals
Now in its 46th year, this festival for dogs and their humans celebrates all dogs but especially coon dogs with a parade, plenty of live music, square dances, and more.
This festival started out almost half a century ago as a fundraiser for the local Coon Club but has evolved into a major event with 10,000+ attendees.
At 1pm on the grounds of the Saluda Elementary School, there will be contests for dogs.
When: July 11, 2009, 9am-10pm
