Come rain or shine, the 15th Annual DAWG Walk, Pet Faire, and Dog Adoption Event will be held on Saturday, June 27 in Mission Viejo.
The event begins with a dog walk along Oso Creek, led by horses from the sheriff’s office. You can register online for the walk or come by early with registration starting at 7am for the walk, which begins at 8:30am. After the walk, look for flyball demonstrations every half hour, a disc dogs presentation at 10am, and over a dozen local rescue groups and shelters with adoptable dogs.
Contests: The event includes several contests starting at 9:30am:
- Best K9 Kisser
- Owner/Bowzer Look-Alike
- Best K9 Trickster
Where: The Village Green, located at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, California
When: June 27, 2009, from 7:00 a.m. – noon
Admission: Both admission and parking are free.
