Run for Rover, Buffalo, NY, July 12, 2009

Grab your running shoes…Buffalo’s second annual Run for Rover is scheduled for Sunday, July 12 at LaSalle Park in Buffalo, New York.

This is a USATF-certified 5k run/walk for people, a one-mile walk for pets and their families and a 100-yard walk for children.

The event, which is a fund raiser for the Pet Emergency Fund, also includes:

• a costume contest officiated by WKBW-TV Linda Pellegrino
• dog frisbees for all registered participants
• dog washing
• a pet costume contest
• animal welfare/provider information
