Grab your running shoes…Buffalo’s second annual Run for Rover is scheduled for Sunday, July 12 at LaSalle Park in Buffalo, New York.
This is a USATF-certified 5k run/walk for people, a one-mile walk for pets and their families and a 100-yard walk for children.
The event, which is a fund raiser for the Pet Emergency Fund, also includes:
- a costume contest officiated by WKBW-TV Linda Pellegrino
- dog frisbees for all registered participants
- dog washing
- a pet costume contest
- animal welfare/provider information
