On your mark, dachshunds! Friday, June 26, 2009 marks the Third Annual Wiener Dog Race – “The Wiener of OZ” in Pendleton, Oregon. Open to dachshunds only, the Main Street race is a benefit for the Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon.
Along with the weiner dog race, the event includes a costume contest for all dog breeds with categories that include most elegant dog costume, funniest dog costume, and look alike.
Registration Fees: Early registration fee is $15 per dog, $20 day of the race.
