Just outside of Seattle, KDOG, the City of Kirkland, and WOOFD2 (Washington Owners of Flying Disc Dogs) are planning this summer’s Go Dog, Go! Kirkland Canine Festival.
It’s an event for dog owners and their canine companions to enjoy free games, Agility and Flyball demonstrations, and watch Flying Disc Dog Competition. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask the experts at a morning forum.
Contests: Look for a variety of contests including:
- best trick
- owner/dog look-a-like
- best kiss
- best tail wag
- doggie zen (how long can your dog sit without eating a plate of treats?!)
- best costume
The event is a fundraiser for Kirkland Park dog waste stations and the creation of the first dog park in Kirkland.
