War Dogs Program, Fredericksburg, TX, July 25, 2009

The National Museum of the Pacific War, located in Fredericksburg, Texas, is presenting a special program on War Dogs on Saturday, July 25, 2009. The two-part event starts with a demonstration of active military wary dogs and their trainers, held in the Memorial Courtyard at 10:30am.

At 1:30pm, the 45-minute War Dogs of the Pacific will will show in the Admiral Nimitz Museum Ballroom. The documentary highlights the story of the Marine Dog Platoons of World War II. The film’s director, Harris Done, will present a special program after the screening.

When: July 25, 2009; demonstration at 10:30am; film at 1:30pm

Where: National Museum of the Pacific War, 340 E. Main, Fredericksburg, Texas

Admission: The demonstration is free; the film presentation is free with regular Museum admission.
