An afternoon of family-friendly dog fun is planned at the second annual Dog Days of Silver Spring, presented by Living Ruff and Downtown Silver Spring. The event will include:
- dog adoptions with many area rescue groups
- pet performances
- special guest Mary Alice Yeskey, the Food Network’s “Ace of Cakes”
- an appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog
- best trick contest
- owner/dog look-a-like contest
- raffles and more
When: Sept. 13, 2009, 1pm-5pm
