In honor of National Dog Day on August 26, 2009, Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Denver is going to the dogs! In conjunction with adjacent Panzano restaurant, Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco will be providing an afternoon of pup-pampering fun from 2:30 – 6 p.m.
Special Celebrations: The hotel’s National Dog Day celebrations will include:
- Pooch Power Hour: From 2:30 – 6 p.m. dogs will be welcome on Panzano’s patio and in the hotel lobby during wine hour from 5 – 6 p.m. to woof down complimentary Peanut Butter Pupcakes and Italian Dog Sliders and take part in a “Top Dog” contest.
- Pet Massages: From 4:30 – 6 p.m. Mino Fuller of Hands on Hounds will be providing complimentary pet massages in the hotel’s living room lobby. Fuller is a certified Canine Therapeutic Massage Therapist (CTMT), Reiki practitioner and a member of the International Association of Animal Massage & Body Works (IAAMB).
- Petworking: Throughout the day, four-legged guests can petwork with other furry friends at the hotel, including canine pals of Kimpton employees.
Pet Policies: As one of Denver’s leading pet-friendly hotels, Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco welcomes all pets, regardless of size or weight, for no additional charge. All furry friends are welcomed with their name listed on a welcome board as they arrive and are offered complimentary in-room feeding bowls , pet beds, Pooper Scooper bags and walking maps for pet parents. Additionally, the hotel offers dog walking and sitting services, close proximity to an exercise area and a list of nearby veterinarians upon request.
