If you’re on Twitter, you may have been following the journey of Luke and his two dogs, Hudson and Murphy as they walk 2000 miles (http://twitter.com/2dogs2000miles). The trio is walking from Austin (TX) to Boston (MA) to raise funds and awareness for canine cancer.
On September 13, 2009, Luke, Hudson and Murphy will be stopping in Arlington, Virginia at Wag’n for the Cure from 11am-4pm. Proceeds raised will benefit the Morris Animal Foundation Canine Cancer Campaign.
You’ll be able to register on site for the 2K Arlington Walk 4 the Cure; the walk is held Saturday between 9:30am and 6:30pm and Sunday between 10:30am and 5:30pm.
On Sunday, you and your dog will have the chance to win prizes, celebrate Hudson’s birthday pawty, and enter your dog in the “Wagger” Contest. Luke will be autographing pictures, t-shirts or you can bring your own item. Bring your dogs; leashed, socialized, and vaccinated pets are welcome.
