Ugly Dog BBQ, Granite Shoals, TX, Sept. 26, 2009

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but ugliness will be in the eyes of the judges at the Ugliest Dog Contest at the 3rd Annual Ugly Dog BBQ in Granite Shoals, a central Texas community near Marble Falls.

A benefit for the Granite Shoals City Parks, the event will include dogs and cats for adoption as well as plenty of dog contests including:

• Ugliest dog
• Cutest dog
• Look-a-Like
• Best costume
• Best trick
• Best tail wagger

The day will also include lots of family fun with water balloon tosses, hula hoop contests and more.

When: Saturday, Sept, 26, 2009, 11am-4pm. Judging begins at 2pm.

Where: Phillips Ranch Road Park 10, Granite Shoals, Texas

Cost: $5 per dog entered in contests
